Events at HL-A

1988

Honda-Lock Japan (HL-J) and All-Lock Co. enter into a (50:50) joint venture established in Selma, Alabama.

1989

Started mass production of key sets in Selma, Alabama.

1997

Discontinued the joint venture. Became 100% owned by Honda-Lock Japan (HL-J).

1998

Renamed the company; changed from All-Lock Co. to HL-A Co., Inc.

1999

Georgia facility start-up in Bremen, Georgia (zinc die-cast manufacturing and machining).

2000

Door Latch mass production; assembly and plastic injection molding start-up in Bremen, Georgia facility. 

2001

QS9000 Certified (AL & GA Plants).

2002

Started production of Door Mirror and Outside Handle mass production in Assembly and Paint Departments at Georgia plant; ISO14001 Certified.

2004

The International Quality Management Standard specifically written by the Automotive Industry (ISO/TS 16949) acquired by Selma, Alabama facility.

2005

New Ohio R&D office started operation; Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) acquired.

2006

AHM Parts Service Two Year Series Award.

2007

ISO/TS 16949 acquired by Georgia plant.

2008

New automated paint line installed at Bremen, Georgia facility.

2009

AHM Parts Service Two Year Series Award.
